Hello everyone!I am trying to organize a Montreal meet in the month of August, dates and location TBD. Was just wondering how many people would plan on attending? We can have a car rally in the late morning, followed by a BBQ/lunch. Then you can all experience the Montreal night life Here is some background on the city of Montreal ( from http://www.expedia.ca)http://www.expedia.ca/daily/en...w.aspThanks everyone!

Having it on a saturday would be great, I'd drive up friday, leave monday probably. No weekend in particular... but that could change. Right now its good though, would be awsome if we could be along the lake in dorval, very nice location scenery there. Or how about on Sainte Helene Isle? I actually know how to get there lol after getting lost for 2 hours one time trying to find the road there...

I say lets have a meet in Kingston - right in between Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.

I've been by there before on my way to MTL but never through the city. hwy 15 near there is an awsome road to cruise, all hills and curves... but best done from Smith Falls cause its all down hill from there literally.

I lived in Kingston for 23 years (well actually north of the city) and went to Queen's so I know it pretty well there. Highway 10 (division st out to north of city) is also quite curvy and hilly - motorcycles like to go down there in the summer.

The only thing I can think about against meeting in Kingston is that we are going to have 2 Ontario meets. I was thinking it would be nice this year to have 1 in Ontario and 1 in Montreal/Quebec.Unless the Kingston meet IS the Ontario meet Or we combine and make it the Ontario/Quebec Super Meet?I need more coffee

lol I'm on my second large double double tim hortons. Buzz? Anyway Kinston would be cool for an ontario meet, but a super meet? that could be interesting to. Now if you guys could plan maybe a MTL meet when your Tuner show is in the baseball stadium, we could do the meet and then hang at the show eh?hwy 10 through Smith Falls and Kinston is awsome, I did 120 in my Sunfire GT all the way down that large winding 30 min drive hill. Beautiful view up there, feels like your in a different country almost.

Well Kingston would be great, but don't go changing your plans for the MTL meet. Maybe next year we can do a Kingston meet.

Two meets are good, I had thought the ontario one would be in july and the mtl one in aug? Doesn't really matter which one is first to me.

I don't want a conflict in our dates Well it seems there's a big Oshawa meet in the works, so maybe a Kingston meet isn't going to fly... I don't know how many people would be interested in it.

well the Oshawa meet is becoming an annual thing I think the Montreal Idea is great, once we get the oshawa meet done and over with we can sit and talk about planning a car rally in Montreal sounds fun

MTL has like 3-4 malls spread across downtown that are all connected. Its actually pretty cool.

Its pretty sweet, you gotta go to sainte helene isle. Its a beautiful little island with a fancy resturant and the La Round theme park. But yes MTL is an island, a very lovely one to. Down town has to have the most hilly streets of all the cities I have been in. The classy section is nice for a drive.
