Lights out!

i'm having hard time figuring this out: my lowbeam is out but my high beam works. why? it's the same bulb???

This type of lightbulb have 2 filaments: - One for the low beam and- One for the high beamSo, when one of them burn, we have to replace the bulb.It's the same thing with the front amber park/flasher lights.

Though, I admit, I haven't looked at the front of the car with a turnsignal on.. So.. I take that back!Mike, they're that way so you have the parking lights, and the blinker can flash with the parking light on..

I found that the first time I checked all the lights at night to be sure none of them was burnt.Many cars with turn signal and parking light in the same casing have this feature.
