I'm looking for aprox. a 2 inch drop on my vibe, a friend of mine reccomended against coilovers, and as many of you have already lowered your vibes, I'd like hearing what you have to say, any favorite brands, etc ^^

I got TRD springs and am nothing but impressed. THe car is lower, but not able to scrape easily. And the most important is the handling is unreal. The ride is alot firmer, not bouncy like the factory one.

To get 2" drop you'll have to go with Tein or Eibach Sportline.Tein is much cheaper and I'm very happy with mine, even in winter.

So it will false you speedometer but it will not rub anywhere, even with the Tein spring and a 2.5 inch drop.

Eibach Sportlines. I can fit 2 fingers between the 17" stock wheel and tire, and the fender well. All in all, I'd say 2" pretty much all around, now that they have completely settled and been worn in. Do a search for "springs" and you'll get plenty of info and feedback.

So it looks like Tein or Eibach Sportline. My tire size is 215/35/18, either brand will still work, and the 2" drop won't rub anywhere?
