Still thinking which way to go, While Silverstars are a brighter light, I like the look of the Cool Blue lights.Not a big night hwy driver at night and don't want to be in postion of wishing I had got the Silverstar lightComments?Anyone have expererance with the Cool Blue on hwy at night?Also, Looked though Manual and I don't seem to be able to find Fog Light replacement bulbs number. Rather have bulb with me in driveway when I change them.Thanks

9006 is the fog lamp bulb number. 9003 is the headlight bulb number. Now I run the Silverstar lights myself, prefer white over blue. But thats just me. While the blue has an interesting exterior look, the visibility is not as good and I do a fair amount of night driving from time to time.

Yeah you can really see the difference at a light next to a car with blue lights. You can see yours a lot better and his are fadded and not bright at all. I like the blue color but sacrifising visibility is not worth it to me.

The only problem with the Silverstars that we're finding is that they've got a short lifespan, and high dollar pricetag.Seems the North American Silverstars are different from the European ones - and the ones here the filaments are overdriven so that you're lucky to get a year out of them.... maybe a bit more if you're really lucky.A lighting engineer posted that these are the bulbs to look for:For those who want the best possible performance from their headlamps and are more concerned with their ability to see rather than the appearance of their headlamps, the major bulb companies offer optimized bulbs WITHOUT the light-stealing blue coloration. Ok you lost me on this one,You can see yours a lot better and his are fadded and not bright at allI understand you can see a car with blue lites at nite but whose are fadded?I don't do a lot of hwy nite driving, what I'm concerned is on those nites that I do if I be crying because the cool blue is worst than stock bulbsAs comes into play is the life span of silverstar vs Cool blues

I kept my original lights to, they are so simple to change to. But yeah be careful not to touch or drop them. The OEM bulbs are more price wise then silverstars though. I paid $27 a bulb at Canadian Tire while stock bulbs for the Vibe over the parts counter run around $35 before my GM discount.My opinion is set on the bright whites.
