I'm glad I got the new upgrade battery put in a week ago today, we had fifteen below this morning and as stiff as the car was I don't think it would have started with the old battery.

I just changed my battery after a very cold morning for this area just about killed the stock power plant! I checked the size and found that an AC Delco 85-7YR fits perfectly if you use the adaptar under it and provides 850 CA.............WOOOOHOOOO! Called my rep and got one n/c! Now it should crank at -40!

I sell auto-parts for a living. One of those lines is AC Delco, I just called in a favor, and got one written off! But the point was that there is a very stong battery available that at the very least the dealer could pro-rate the battery in your vehicle and give you the value against one with higher CCA.

About 80 bucks(CAN) across the counter!
