So, what team do you want to win? Interesting bit I heard on the radio this morning. Some study supposedly compared people who watched the superbowl and the superbowl commercials with people who watched the superbowl but not the commercials, results were that watching the commercials too resulted in a 57% increase in probability of having (removed) after the game.

I wanted the Broncos. Hey drunken, how about the broncos vs the rams??? That way we both get what we want!!! If I have to choose, I am going for the Panthers - only because a friend of mine works for the team.

I think Panthers will win 14 to 10. I think that the Panthers are more hungery for the title. They actually kinda remind of the Pats when they won 2 years ago.

No Simpsons option for me tonight. So far I like the SSR commercial with the bars of soap. The Ford GT looks pretty sweet too, although I don't know how many of us can afford one. Hey Pontiac, where's the Vibe commercial?I've got 2 squares in a pool, but didn't hit either quarter.

I like the Ford GT, and kinda liked the Dodge Magnum. I thought the horse farting was funny, but my favorite was the ref getting yelled at by his wife.

only one i really saw that i likd was the chevy one with the kids and the soap in their mouths. pretty funny.i have to say, i fell asleep after the middle of the 2nd quarter (or period or whatever the hell they have in football), but those commercials i saw all were VERY disappointing for superbowl commercials...bad year...bad bad year...

Thats really funny, ras!Sorry to break it to you guys, that silver thing you saw is a nipple stick-on, not a piercing. It had to have been planned like that, why else would someone have a velcro cover over a nipple cover.I wonder if Grafxwerks did the overlay for janet's nipple. interesting.

I liked the 7up dunk for a million bucks commercial and the Chevy SSR one with the bars of soap. The Ford GT commercial was good only for the car, but it would have been better for them to just excerpt from that video that silver posted. interesting to see the dodge magnum commercial, which wasn't that good of a commercial, but I've wanted to test drive one of those since meathead first posted about them, so I'm glad to see them coming out soon. In a way, you kinda gotta feel sorry for janet if that's what she has to do to get anyone to care.

Since you all are discussing the commercials, I thought you would enjoy reading the best and worst listing:A rundown of best and worst Super Bowl adsBy JUSTIN BACHMANAP Business Writer The second Super Bowl competition Sunday - the advertisingbattle among expensive, lavishly produced television spots - was acontest played by the marketers of drugs and soft drinks, cars andcomputers. Each 30-second commercial cost $2.3 million this year. Here is one viewer's rundown, by category, of which ads caughtthe eye and which ones dropped the ball: FUNNIEST: Pepsi ad dubbed "Diner," directed by Spike Lee with"The Parkers" star Mo'Nique as a waitress trying to comfort aheartbroken customer with a sandwich and a Pepsi, which restoreshis faith in love. As the Biz Markie classic "Just a Friend"plays in the background, the happy new couple frolic. "So tell mewhat you think about my eyes again, player," she says. MOST SERIOUS: The anti-smoking spot "Shards O' Glass," fromthe American Legacy Foundation featuring freeze pops covered inglass shards. "What if all companies sold products like tobacco,"the overline asks. MOST EXPENSIVE-LOOKING: Visa commercial featuring a volleyballgame on a snow-covered beach, icicles hanging from the net as thewomen played in frigid weather because they can't wait for theSummer Olympics. MOST DISTURBING: Sierra Mist spot with bagpipe player seekingsolace from the heat by standing on a grate, frigid air blowinginto his kilt. Even a boy looking on notes, "That's just wrong." BEST SOPRANOS KNOCK-OFF: Staples' Super Bowl debut, where athuggish office-supply clerk extorts workers for pastries when theyrequest office supplies. Ominous music and poor lighting make Randya menacing mob boss, until an enterprising employee finds Staplesand declares his freedom from the racket. CLEVEREST: Pepsi envisions a 1953 day when a young Jimi Hendrixmunches a slice of pizza and buys a Pepsi outside a store with anelectric guitar in the window. A Coke machine sits outside a pawnshop nearby, where an accordion is for sale. "Whew ... that was aclose one," the spot reads after an accordion rendition of"Purple Haze." DUMBEST: An elaborate montage of black-and-white images toutingGillette's Mach 3 Turbo razor, complete with overwrought prose suchas, "It's like having an angel by your side." BEST FOR A LOUD BAR: Frito Lay ad "Grandparents" for newcrispier version of its potato chip. Without words, an older couplecontend for a potato chip, with the man tripping the woman anddriving his cane into her back as he strolls past. Gloating, theman gets the chip only to turn and see her holding his artificialteeth. (Copyright 2004 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) AP-NY-02-02-04 1101EST
