So some of you know that I got my vibe by my marriage to meathead and he is now in Iraq, well the other day I was driving on I-5 to go pick something up for him about 20 miles away and all of a sudden the back of my car starts to shake and I thought that I had a flat tire but traffic was so bad that we were only moving about 5ph, so I call up my friend the mechanic and tell him my problem and I pull over run around my car while still holding my phone and no flat, so he has me get back in and do a couple of things, so to make a long story short it was just the pavement that I was driving on that made my car shake and I was very scared that the car was broken and I was going to have to tell my husband who is overseas that I hurt hus baby, but everything is fine now and I know for next time that I get a scare like that. Ha Ha

lol. that's good it turned out to be nothing. hate to have meat come back from iraq and be pissed! good thing, is you could've had it fixed and he wouldnt have been the wiser. but, shh....

I was so scared, he loves his car as much as he loves me. ha ha

well, i really doubt it. you can always get another vibe, but it'd be hard to replace you...

I've done the same thing a couple of times. Got really worried about some catastrophic tire or suspension damage, only to find out it was the roads.

I am SO glad you posted this....I had this happen to me the other night on my way down the interstate and I decided to just keep going and take the risk of damaging my car (the area I was in wasn't the best place to pull over for a woman by herself). When I got home and checked my car, everything was okay. I took it to the dealer, they checked everything, and said the car was okay. Now I know what was going on, thanks again.

I had this happen before too. Turned out I had driven through a patched pothole and picked up a bunch of tar and gravel on my tire. I've had a similar problem with ice building up inside the wheels and knocking them off balance.

my car has had a bit of a shimmy to it lately, i don't think it is the alignment since it goes straight when i let go. about how much do people charge to rebalance the tires??

ha ha ha, he would actually beleive me he might be the most gullable person ever, I will have to remember to tell him that next time I talk to him, oh by the way last time I talked to him was yesterday morning, he was stopped for the night on a convoy so he should be in Iraq right now and in baghdad tonight or tomorrow.
