This may just be another winter related proble...My Vibe is displaying -30 all day today, while it's really -40 outside.I am pretty sure the Vibe is capable of displaying a number lower than -30 and the temperature has always been quite accurate too.Anyone's temperature gauge acting weird too ?

I thankfully, am nowhere near those temperatures.Check the manual, maybe that's as far as it goes?

I've seen my vibe below -30 (unfortunately). Could the -40 be the windchill temperature?

-40 is he actual temp.-52 with windchill according theweathernetwork. It's weird because it stayed in @ -30 all day and I am sure the temperature must be at least a little higher during noon hours than the morning.I've seen my Frosty displaying number less than -30 too... will keep an eye on this for the next couple of days.

Mine said -0 the other day. But the lowest I have seen it get is -10. Mine seems to be pretty accurate (about 1-2 degrees colder than everything else, just like my speedo is 2 MPH faster than the car is really moving).

According to the owner's manual, -30C is as low as it goes. Some newer 03 Vibes can display down to -32C. I think it was a mid-production component change. From page 2-62 of the 2003 manual:Temperature DisplayThe outside air temperature is displayed on the center ofthe instrument panel, within the speedometer. The displaywill show the outside air temperature in Fahrenheit with arange from -22°F to 122°F (-30°C to 50°C).
