basically whatever gives the greatest tax break (up here, that would be the RSP) or if you need moderate liquidity, something with a rate of return in the 4-5% range. Real estate would be way up there too, especially if you are currently renting.I stress out enough over my alarm clock failing to wake me up in the morning...I couldn't handle stocks. Give me guaranteed rates any day.

I am pretty sure I will not deal with stocks... Seems awfully similar to horse betting to me... Although I am taking a serious look at real estate...

I have a savings that's dispersed among mutuals, stocks, and an IRA...which in itself is dispersed among mutuals and stocks...Most of it is handled my a financial advisor, but I do some of my own investing...and yep, I do own shares of GM......and Toyota shares are forthcoming...

RRSP for me - my employer contributes 6% of my salary + what I put in. It adds up much faster that way! Can't say no to free stuff - expecially money!

since i have a lot of bills, i don't have a whole lot to invest. i have a 401K that i put about $200/mo into and my work matches it. i also have a roth ira that i opened about 3 yrs ago, but i think it's only got $300!

My investing is primarily limited to:401(k) through workIRA (for the 401(k)s from previous jobssmall investments in mutal funds directly - for kid's college savings.Disney stock
