very interesting article. some responses were better than others. as a salesperson, i can relate to the many tricks prospects try and play. however, i choose to sell on quality and value than on price. most prospects either agree that quality and value are the most important or price. if price is the most important, then i kindly and politely show them the door because i cannot help them. one thing in sales you learn, there is always someone with a lower price. it's like going to nordstrom or kmart. yes, kmart is cheaper, but the quality and service is also non existant. at nordstroms, i get exceptional service and value along with a long time warranty against any defect. i can bring an item back after 6 months, with a small hole in the arm, and they will replace it free of charge. that is good service and value.
