Two annoying things...1. 6 disc in dash CD changer can be heard while playing...kinda a whirring sound...this isn't right is it? It shouldn't be!!!2. The weatherstripping that runs along the roof in front of the roof rack is wavy going up and down now. What can be done about it?

Can't be any worse than the random noises the NAV disc makes...Just turn up the volume knob, that'll fix the CD problem.

My 6-disc changer only makes the whirring noise when ejecting/inserting/changing discs, that is normal. If it is making loud noises while playing the discs, you should have it checked out. Also, -note to everyone- do not ever play CD's with homemade adhesive labels on them in your car's CD player. When the CD warms up inside the player, it can cause the adhesive label to loosen and jam up the mechanism inside the player (especially with in-dash CD changers). My cousin did this to his Altima and the whole head unit had to be replaced because it was all gummed up with adhesive labels. Fortunately, they replaced it under warranty. As for the weatherstripping, I would have the dealer fix this. They will probably just remove it then reinstall it using some adhesive like ragingfish said. It should be covered under warranty.

It shouldn't be!!!I also hear the disc "spinning" between songs on discs. I always thought it was because I don't use original store cds...I always burn a copy on to some cheap blank CDs to keep in the car...I'm never sure if those are perfectly round.

I always have burnt CD's in mine, and have not experienced any problems yet. I love having the changer in the dash. My Corvette's changer was installed in the rear. That makes changing discs while driving a real pain. At least it didn't have a trunk to mount it in.

Hey I don't have a 6-disc changer in my 2003, how ever some cds I play make a grinding noise when I hit the brakes, like it's off balance or something. Some cds don't do it at all but otehr do it when i let off the gas! I dont know what the deal is.

I dont know what the deal is.Sounds like the player isn't properly holding the CD, and it's being allowed to "tilt" when you hit the brakes...Would advise having it looked at by the dealer...I recall hearing of similar issues with other owners now that I think about it...

Single CD player had an issue. When you braked moderately, you could hear the CD rubbing on something inside the player.Your dealer can order in a new player, and replace it in a few hours. This one is an easy fix.
