well, I had talked about it in the past, trading my truck in for a sports car, but now have found an alternate source. The Chevy Silverado SS. I found a dealer near my house that is selling 2 of these beasts for 2 thousand dollars less then wholesale. 6.0l motor awd leather interior the works. I'm going tommorow to have my truck appraised to see if I can afford a "Redneck Corvette".

we have entered the "aggressive" negotiation part of the deal now. Turns out that it would be cheaper for me to gm supplier purchase a 2004 then to take the wholesale on the 2003. Something to do with financeing and 2500 cash back.

the person I am dealing with doesn't have a clue that someone else I know is a Sales manager for a gmc dealership. Wait till he calls on thursday and I ask about the 2 thousand dollar dealer cash he owes me plus the 2500 dollar rebate chevy is offering....... Oh, to feel a dealer squirm is pure bliss....

Call your insurance agent and get the cost of insuring it. Chevy trucks are extremely expensive to insure here in the Pheonix area. They are one of the most stolen vehicles, usually don't see em again unless your traveling down in mexico. I have had two stolen.
