If anyone's interested, the current episode of Monster Garage features the team turning a Celica into a jet car...Not quite a Vibe, but close!

It was pretty cool, but depressing seeing those TRD parts thrown to the wayside.

Jesse went 145 the first run and caught the car on fire. Then it was repaired and he went 185! It turned out pretty good. They had to cut it in half and stretch the wheelbase 30"! Basically it was a a rollcage with turbine and a Celica shell.

awesome! did anyone see the crappy hovercraft episode? jesse is pretty cool, but i think he is a bit overcocky. he never told them how to build the hovercraft, but when they did start to build it, he flipped out on them for not doing it right!

I think the kid OWNS! Started with some scrap metal in a little shop and built the empire he has now! On his own, on his terms! Very smart guy, I would say! Except I just saw him on an AutoZone commercial. That was strange...and really out of character, I would think, but hey...
