how about they make the moonroof a one touch button, so we dont have to hold the button down, and click it twice when it stops in the middle.

I got a bunch! Don't get me wrong, I love the car, but they could definitely make some improvements1) that little divot in the hood just in front of the windshield where water collects2) some type of panic button on the Keyless Entry (or horn when I lock the doors) so I can find it in a crowded parking lot3) (Accesssory) A cargo tray that I can actually Remove and carry with stuff in it. It's a long walk from my car to my door. It would be great if the cargo tray where I put all my groceries, etc. could have handles on the side so I could carry it in all at once4) (Accessory) a Cargo mat with slots for the tie down hook tracks5) a lock on the glove box. 6) Clock/Radio screen that doens't cancel out the polarization of my sunglasses (and now I can't see anything on the screen unless I turn my head sideways)7) No passenger side seat belt lamp8) Ability to disable Daytime Running Lights. Most of the time I like them, but there are times when I'd rather drive with the lights off.9) Make tie down hooks on trunk deck slightly bigger so I can fit a carabeaner through. They kinda fit now, but not great. Bungee chords fit fine unless you have more than one going through a hook...10) Strengthen compartment below shifter11) Coin slot beneath hand brake is a pain in the (removed) to get to because of, well, the hand brake is in the way.12) I get an awful lot of bugs on the front fender. I mean a LOT of bugs...probably cant do anything about that.13) Non-wimpy horn14) The obvious moonroof changes above15) Auto up on the window....and throw the auto window stuff on the passenger side too. I guess that's enought complaints from me...

Just a few.............1. Move lighter/power supply so when I shift into R I don't smash my cell phone charger.2. Have an acccess port for power cable for power outlet in console bin.3. Leather seats.4. Power avaiable in outlets when key is not on.5. Remove "ribs" in cladding design.6. Relocate headlight sensor on dash.7. Chrome rims.8. Like john says" that little divot in the hood just in front of the windshield where water collects"9. Fix squeeks in dash form gauge pods.10. I what a 200+ hp awd.Other than that I like the Vibe Gt, If you have to drive a wagon for under $30,000 CDN nothing can touch it

I agree with all of Aquasax's comments. I'd like to upgrade/add some more features to the DVD-NAV someday. I think the top one has to be the light sensor. It's strange to have the lights come on when it is a 100 degree clear sky sunny day.

I agree with everyone's comments as well... I just want to add a better system for the factory radio and better GM service! In a perfect world your dealer would listen to your complaints and try to fix them... It's definately an adventure buying a 1st generation vehicle!

U know, I like the LS1 idea. Although not enough room for the LS1, there is a lot of space under the hood. I say 3.8 v6...its bulletproof, and it would prolly fit.

1. More torque1. Upgrade the interior materials - check out a Mazda Protege for a nice example.2. More torque3. Differentiate the GT from the base model... somehow...4. More torque5. Relocate the headlight sensor6. More torque7. Fill in bottom end of 200 watt stereo so I don't have to buy a Bazooka tube8. Add a supercharger... for more torque.

I'm guessing you really want more torque. Just a hunch I have.

Yep. I realize that the GT just snorts once you get the revs up, but sometimes you dont want to (or don't have time to) do this, and it would be nice to just "punch it" to squirt in and out of tight spots. Having said that, I must admit that the sound of the GT at 6000+ rpm is fairly cool. Especially when you zip past the clown trying to sail their Chevy Subdivision into the Walmart parking lot. No offense to those who actually use a SUV the way they were intended, of couse.

Pontiac need's to catch up with Toyota and start pushing aftermarket mods for the base Vibe. I actually saved some money to hook up my Vibe, but there isn't hardly anything out there (ie: intakes, springs, turbo, ect.). Yeah, there's parts out there that SHOULD fit, but for some reason companies can't try thier products out just to see if it even fits. I don't want to spend $250 on a CAI and end up cutting it in half just to make it fit. Am I ranting yet?You hardly see any Matrix's out on the road, you don't see any commercials for them (at least in WI), but TRD and most other after market parts companies have everything for that car. I'm sooo Jealous! Okies, now I guess I am ranting on. Sorry! But you know what I mean?

This is not to flame anyone so don't take it that way but a lot of members talk about the torque of the 1.8 needing to be better. Everyone needs to remember that small 4 cylinder first off have trouble making V8 torque. If your use to driving a V6 or a V8 and jump in a 4 cylinder of course it's going to feel under powered. The larger the CI of the engine the more torque it will make. The 1.8 liter isn't that big.One thing I will say for the 1.8 is Toyota did a hell of a job with it. I have test driven and owned my fair share of 4 bangers and the Toyota 1ZZ-FE hands down pulls harder from a idle than any other 4 cylinder (that is not turbo or supercharged) I have ever driven. To me it pulls harder than most 2.0L thru 2.4L engines I have driven. My 1.8L DOHC 16 Valve kia engine has nothing on the 1ZZ. Toyota made it with low end torque in mind. The longer stroke and the funky design of the intake manifold all have to do with this.I personally think the torque is great. Even the auto trany Vibes are very responsive with this engine. Nova Resourse can tell you that since he owns one.

Not V8 or even some V6 torque but still very good considering it's only 4 cylinders. However, that doesn't mean I don't want more torque.

My suggestions, granted I have only had my Vibe a week now. This is what I have so far. - The supposed change holders are difficult to get to (under the e-brake handle) and both of them are noisy, cause the change rattles around in them [not sure if anyone else has had this annoyance at all]. I had a S-10 previous to my Vibe and it had a sweet little spring loaded change holder that fit in the console... I think that would work well with the Vibe too.- Found this on out just today after my stop at the gas station. I got a "big slam" and to my utmost horror, it did NOT fit in either of the two cup holders on the center console. This is a big deal to me because I drink out of bottles that size all the time.- I agree with the locking glove box as well.- Maybe some factory tint to the windows (I wasn't offered this if it is avaliable when I ordered mine). The windshield is so big that it is hard to block out the sun with the "not so wonderful" sunvisors.- An added sub or something to fill in the lows on the stereo would be nice too.

I think Pontiac should make the vehicle more available to the Canadian market. 6 or 7 month waits are not unusual on a factory ordered VIBE in Canada. This is totally unacceptable and an insult to every Canadian consumer. You risk alienating the Canadian public to the VIBE brand, which targets the most important age group. You are not only losing immediate sales to your direct competition, but you are also losing future market share and buyer loyalty.
