This page does have some mature language in it, but it has a realistic view on the H2.

Funny, I feel this way EVERY single night on my way home and would love to do just what the web site encourages, but I am scared I would get shot - I would have to hang out the window and make certain they saw me! Every H2 driver I have encountered here where I live is rude with attitude. I love the site!!!!!

Am I the only one that finds it odd that tree huggers are torching Hummer dealerships in California, but nobody cares that a Ferrari also gets about 10 MPG in the city and carrys a maximum of two people?

It is odd, but it may be because when you look at the % of ferraris vs. the % of hummers you see on the road, you probably see 10-20 hummers for every ferrari.i've never seen a ferrari, lamborghini, bentley, or any other premier car on the road...the occasional porsche, but even that's rare...this is all speculation, of course, but your points are very valid!

The H2 is just an arrogant, obnoxious, 4 ton gas guzzling rolling status symbol. If I'm going to be rear-ended in my Vibe with my 2yr old boy in his car seat in the back by a dumb (removed) dialing his cell phone, I hope it's not an H2. Does anyone remember hearing the song "I'm an (removed) hole"? Every time I see an H2, Excursion, Escalade, etc, it reminds me of that song.

Hey Bill! Ferrari's are a work of art, remember that As for generalizing that all H2 drivers are arrogant is just plain wrong...my brother came down from Michigan to show me one and it was nice, he gets to drive different GM vehicles and chose that one to show me, but I still love my Vibe ...if people want to drive big trucks/cars like that more power to them...there are WORSE things in the world right now to even care about stuff like this....that's just my 0.02$ and please don't flame me for it.

Dennis Leary did that song. The album it was on was hysterical. I made the mistake of listning to it the first time with a bunch of my friends in the car. We made it about 10 minutes driving before I had to pull over and laugh because I couldn't see where I was going with all the tears in my eyes. One of my buddies in the back had to open the door and spit out his iced tea because he couldn't hold it anymore. I remember that well. It was at the part where he was talking about the special cows in Virginia that smoke. LOL!BTW--this has to be one of the dumbest sites I've ever seen. Seems to have been created by some jealous disgruntled factory workers turned enviro-kooks.

The tree huggers are friends of Al Gore. I grow trees for a living but I have no use for people who take the law into their hands and destroy what other peoples property. Civil disobedience is fine as long as people and property are not hurt.

In an accident, the average automobile doesn't stand a chance against the H2 due to it's height and weight. The H2 burns several times the fuel which emits pollutants than than say our Vibes. You could consider that the H2 owners are violating the rest of us by using up an excessive amount of our fuel, and polluting our air, and putting the rest of us at a disadvantage in an accident.

I don't see a problem here, If people want an H2 because THEY like it, So be it. It's their money, therefore THEIR car. People who make these sites just need to get a life, Just because they hate a certain type of car doesn't mean everyone should. I just don't understand dumb@$$'s like this.

I'm not trying to defend the H2 but... Quote »The H2 is a death machine. You'd better hope that you don't collide with an H2 in your economy car. You can kiss your (removed) goodbye thanks to the H2's massive weight and raised bumpers. Too bad you couldn't afford an urban assault vehicle of your own. Or could you...?Hitting *any* SUV in an economy car could end pretty badly. However, last month, the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers announced some plans to start changing things... Quote »To enhance safety in front-to-front crashes, manufacturers commit to further enhancing the geometric matching of front structural components of vehicles. Better matching of structural components will enhance the ability of these structures to absorb crash forces, reducing occupant fatalities by an estimated 16-28 percent. Manufacturers have begun accommodating the performance criteria in their new products, and by September 2009, 100 percent of the vehicles of participating manufacturers will meet the front-to-front performance criteria.
http://www.autoalliance.org/pr...3.htmEventhough they say 2009, most OEMs are committing to 2006. Like I said, I'm not trying to defend the H2; I just wish people would do a little research before they make websites like that.

To pick out the H2 as the root of all our social, enviromental and economical problems is just ignorant. Kinda like the hand jesture they are promoting. If you wanted to be so enviromentally correct why would anyone buy the GT model? Or for that matter we should all be driving around in hybrid cars getting 50+ mpg. And lets not forget our homes...1000 sq/ft cost half as much to heat/cool as a 2000 sq/ft house. The list could go on and on. Please don't be a pin head, think before you rant.

silverawd, Do you see me promoting a website about hating Fords and everyone flipping them off? I didn't think so.

cohocarl, My reply wasn't directed towards you, but to the makers of the site. silverawd, My 'opinion joke' was very different. It was a comment and not a bashing site about another brand of car. I was just pointing out that THEY are not the ones driving that car so who cares if the H2 owners like their cars? Saying every H2 owner is an anti-tree hugging @$$hole is just ignorant. It also makes no sence for a H2 owner to be pointlessly flipped off in public just because of their type of car.

I know everyone will have a different opinions on this subject, but I look at it as funny or humorous. That's what this thread is about , so lets keep it that way. I see a trailer park in your future....

Maybe the manufacturers will quit pumping out funky looking little tin cans on 4 wheels and start making real cars again. I doubt it.
