GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

After a long futile search at every Toys R Us, Wal Mart and any other toy store in the GTA I came across, I finally found a Matchbox Vibe. And of all places to find it, the Shoppers Drug Mart in the Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto. Apparently most Shoppers Drug Mart got a shipment of the Hero City Matchbox series for Christmas and I had seen a couple of displays of them in other Shoppers store looking for #51 Pontiac Vibe GT with no luck until today. Cost = $1.99Now I'm busy painting the monotone Satellite Matchbox Vibe two tone to match my Vibe.

I got mine from Shoppers Drug Mart as well (as a Christmas present from my step-daughter)....however, it will be hard to paint the Satellite to Salsa two tone.

So I guess a trip to the pharmacy is in order!

Was at Walmart today with the Wife and Boy looking for a leapfrog cartridge in the toy section and I happened to walk by the Matchbox display. After dropping a couple off the pegs trying to find a Vibe, I finally found one. $0.82.

I feel your pain SCTM!I did however find a Pontiac Vibe GTR model car at Walmart, it went for about 28$. Here is a pic of it with a new spokesperson for the Vibe

I'm telling you Red check out Walmart they have it for sure! Myself I am trying hard to find a Neptune one but they only sell them in the US (as far as I have seen) so I guess on my next business trip to the US I will order one and send it to my hotel

At this point, I'll settle for ANY color.Still no signs in jersey...*sigh*

I have both the Salsa and the yellow sitting on my shelf on display ( not to mention the dust)I've had mine for almost a year now got them in the states $15 ea.T

Alright..have anyone found the matchbox vibe in Toronto/Markham area?? I've searched Walmart, Sears, The Bay, and ToysRUs and I still can't find it. Anyone seen it anywhere else?
