Does anyone have a good technique for cleaning the upper grill egg crates?

Guess I am a bit lazy...I just wash it with the regular car wash mit then blow dry it with the leaf blower. Keeps it from getting the hardwater stains.

LOL, the neighbors must think you use the leaf blower because you are too lazy to wipe your car dry.

Looks like the Honeycomb egg crate inserts look easy enough to remove. Has anyone considered putting 'em in the dishwasher on a low heat cycle?

In http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=5625, AtWork said she cleanes her license plates in the dishwasher. A dishwasher might work on the honeycomb grill, but you would want to make sure to stop it before it went into the dry cycle. Would suck to melt them trying to clean them.

You probably could clean them top rack with no problems in the dry cycle. However, it all depends on what kind of grime you have on them. I tried to wash my wheel covers from my sunfire one time, and it didn't take anything off at all...they had to be scrubbed to accomplish anything.I did find, however, the electric toothbrush my ex-girlfriend left behind does a fantastic job in those hard-to-reach places.

I'm assuming part numbers are the same in Canada vs. the states. That being said, according to my handy-dandy parts list, your information is as follow:BRACKET, LICENSE PLATE 88969810 16.78Not bad at all! Remember though, that's US dollars...according to converters, it's about $21.95 CAD.

Mike, if she remembers it now and asks for it back, you should give it back to her and not tell her that you've been "using" it. I just use the plain 'ol soft bristled toothbrush myself for the hard to reach places as well.
