Any reason why the photo of the vibe plate looks worse than the matrix one?

whats going to happen to this piece of metal when it gets bent, the vibe has a pointy frontend? And have you put one on a vibe?

The bumper does come to a point, but the plate is only 1/16" thick, and it will bend. I put rubber directly in the middle of the plate so that this contact point will not damage the paint. No, I have not put one on a Vibe yet.

Just rubber in the middle, I would put it all the way around so that it does not scratch it anywhere...just a suggestion.

There is rubber in all the key spots that would rub, but I pointed out specifically there is also rubber in the middle where it will be contacting the point in the bumper.
