This is my 500th post, so I figured I would post a topic about my favorite thing in the world...drifting. You can't drift in a front wheel drive car, however, technically you can on ice I was driving to school Wednesday morning, and forgot to pick up my girl friend, so I turned around in a subdivision and to do so I pulled the handbrake, did a complete 180 and started on my way back It was so beautiful...I also put the handbrake to use around corners, sliding through them...so much fun...I already know it's dangerous so spare me the lectures please

Well some people can argue that forgetting your girlfriend can be dangerous as well.

i love having the rear drive aspect of kicking the back end out in the snow, yet having the control of fwd to get it back. this is the only time of year i can brag against all you base/gt guys out there!

I think teh ice only has to be about 7-10 inches. My granparents live on houghton lake and theres a festival up ther ever year called "tip up town" and last year they were giving monster truck rides on teh ice, and drivin 2-ton tractors.

i think it needs to be a little thicker than that. plenty of folks drive out on big lake during the winter. the lake freezes about 5 feet down. they even have roads and marked trails for snowmachines, cars, etc. lots of fun!
