I just finished up my shopping this year 2 weeks in advance...I used to be a last weekend shopper, then the last couple of holidays have become a last minute shopper....this year decided to try out doing it faster and I am done! I am just starting today on Dec 17 but know what I want so all I have to do is go get it. James

im not buying until the heat is on. that is my only motivation! i am only buying for my mom, brother, and most likely, only 1 grandma (other one is a beeatch). i have no idea what to get my mom this year, she makes good money and has just about everything. got her a dvd/vcr combo last year, maybe i could count that as 2 christmas seasons!

I'm an early shopper...and most of it was done online after the kiddies were asleep. It's nice to have the stuff brought to you! Also, many companies were offering free shipping if your order was over a certain limit, so I took full advantage of that.

I always been a last minute shopper... except for this year.I surprised myself by doing all my gift 2 weeks in advance!!!

I have come to the point whee I don't really wnat gifts.. I tell my family a card will do. I have so many young people like 3 younger brother who are under 17 about a half dozen cousinswho are early teens and a a niece and nephew and they all want the super duper razzle dazzle latest most expensive gifts.. OUCH!! it hurts to spend so much but I like being the cool big bro giving them stuff and spoiling them rotten.. Oh well

Got some shopping done a while ago, but still have some more to do. Going tonight when I get off work.

I got my mother a pair of diamond stud earrings....you shoud get your mom a pair too even if she has some already. I asked my mom to get me an in-dash 7" moniter player for christmas just joking around and she said "yeah, sure if you get e a pair of diamond studs" which is extremely weird because I had already bought her the earrings before she said that lol...atleast I know she'll like em and maybe I'll get my dvd player

I had it all done well before Thanksgiving. Thank God!!!

Eh sorry bro which Thanksgiving? The Canadian one or the American one That is pretty amazing, I am wondering if I should start even earlier next year...thing is there are some sweet specials sometimes for the last minute shoppers

I just realized, I'm not quite done my shopping. Gotta buy a "Popcorn" bowl which I'm going to put some movie gift certificates in and a measuring spoon that slides to various sizes. Both of these are at the same store so I know where I'm going. I'll either go first thing tomorrow morning or one night next week.

I went to the mall last time this morning (between 9h30 and 10h30) early to avoid the crowd...I think I'm done now. Maybe just a little thing more for my sister but I will find it in a pharmacy.So good luck for those who have not finished!

did all my shopping yesterday (Sun 12/21). the mall was crowded, but not too bad. i even got myself a pair of shoes! > "i got shoes! yaaaaay!"

I'm officially done Christmas shopping! My boyfriend went with the end of my list tonight and finished off stuff I needed to get. Now he's gotta finish his family.

I finished two weeks ago....I really don't care if I get anything...as long as my fiance likes what I got him.....

When I go out shopping, I like it to be like a tactical combat strike. Well planned, know exactly what the mission is, get in do the deed, get out with minimal casualties and collateral damage, come home and have a beer. THis year I am really stuck for ideas, and I had to do one of the things I hate, which is wander the mall and hope for inspiration. I need to a better person, because I now know what the afterlife for me will be like if I am judged and found inadequate.But there have been conspiring events for me this year. Monday I went out and bought my sn a CD. Yesterday, he went out and bought himself the same CD. It makes me feel great. I love getting people stuff that they're going to like. Her kids aren't allowed to play with it. ha!

With all the 'last minute 50% OFF sales' at many retailers, it almost NEVER pays to shop early in bricks-and-mortar department stores. They still have TONS of selection, even the day before Christmas.A few years ago, I used to do ALL my shopping at the last minute simply because I'd get a healthy Christmas bonus check and get off at noon on the 24th.This year, we haven't had much extra money for gifts, but I got a small windfall today, so I'm shopping tomorrow (the 24th) once again. Gotta get the Christmas letters in the mail tomorrow too!

Well I got mine all done. Finished it off last night.

Started last night (Friday) at 5pm finished at 8pm. There was NO ONE at the mall so I got very luckly. Note to self...do not move into a new place on the 1st of December because by the 5th you are broke.
