i can't help but wonder if i am the only one to do this in the vibe. (shorter people do not attempt this) has anyone else ever driven the vibe w/their head sticking out of the sunroof? talk about stares! some people honk at you, lots of people point and laugh! i love being an idiot!tight-asses: spare me the safety lecture, i don't give a doodle.

i'm only about 6'1", you just kind of stretch your neck out and raise your (removed) slightly off the seat.

My friends always hang out the sunroof going down a big hill, and since I never get to, I sometimes stick my head out like taht cause I don't trust anyone else to drive so I can. So I guess you can say I'm "retarded" as you,...

I've never done that in my Vibe, but 10 years ago I used to stick my head out the top of my Tracker. People thought it was hilarious. Nice to know some things never change...

sometimes the truth hurts!i urge others to try this (wait until its warm, don't do it on the highway), its quite fun!

Been there, done that. Had a 65 VW bug with a sun roof back in 74'. Damn i'm oooold. Great fun though.

(removed) that video is messed up!I'm unfortunately FAR too short to reach my head out the moonroof while moving...I'll have to get someone else to drive sometime...if I ever get over my phobia of other people driving my car.However I've found that stnading on both seats and standing up through the open moonroof makes for a much easier job waxing the roof!

i'm too short to do so however my 9 year old loves to knee on the seat and the console and stick her head out of the sunroof....yes i'm a bad parent for letting her doing this etc etc etc but we are on side roads and she reminds me of the golden retriever i've never had, LOL !!

LOL, you're not a bad parent...You're a fun parent My mom let me do that too when I was really little in her Mazda. It was great. I, however don't have a moonroof on my Vibe

hey guys yes I have done this but I was also holding a roman candle. It was also in a prissy neighborhood at 2 am with The Eminem show blaring out that nice stereo from the moon and toons package.

Yes I have... I used to be a Valet at a Country Club and drove the Verts similar to that way sometimes, looking over the windshield. I also have driven cars with my head out the side window like a dog looks out going down the road. The last is/was very stupid... We were in High School and took turns sticking our heads out of the sunroof in a friends moms Audi Quatro going 120 MPH. Spare me the lecture, it was years ago...

How about the old "change drivers on the fly" routine? The passenger puts his left foot on the gas (we didn't have cruise control back then) and steers with his left hand as the driver climbs into the back seat. The driver stands/crouches in the back and reaches over to steer as the passenger slides over to the driver's seat while holding the throttle down.
