Since i got my vibe a lil over 2 months ago i've noticed a few people checkin it out as i drive by but today it was twice in 30 minutes. The first time was when i was pullin out of my driveway, this girl (20somethign maybe?) was drivin by and just stared the entire time she was passing. the second was while i was getting my oil changed, this lady was jsut leaving as they were pulling my car up on the rack and as she was passing by me sitting there waiting she said, "hey, that's a really neat looking car!", i smiled and said thanks, she inquired about mileage and the such. it felt good.

ya, it's always a great feeling when people check out your "vibe." i still get plenty of stares, comments and questions. most are all positive.

And I get some that laugh,I'm assuming because of the envy. But they're mostly hillbillies whose trucks are predominantly rust and would lose several major body panels before they hit 8200 rpm not to mention the engine blowing. But I just smile and let em wiff my smelly exhaust...

Vibes are a common sight in Michigan, but mine got a lot stares in the Chicago area last week. Everyone from teenagers to senior citizens wanted to know about the paint.

Yeah, I do get a lot of attention too.And I didn't really buy the Vibe for the attention. *shrugs*There are two instances of particular interest.1. 2 days after I bought the Vibe, I saw a lady with a Cirrus parked very close to my Vibe and in a rather werid/crooked position. My first reaction was to write down her licence plate... good thing I was in Staples buying stationary Turned out that she was looking at my Vibe and that her girl-friend is about to buy one as well.2. last month, I was at the Vet's and I looked out the window and saw two girls ( around my age ) walking towards ( and then past ) my Vibe and had their heads turned even when they are past.Like I said, I am no attention-seeker but the stares, questions and turned heads really make me feel good. hehe.Driving a Vibe is quite an Ego-booster, mind I add.

I wish I had a dollar for every "vibe tour" I've given at the gas station. Most of the people I have never met..

http://www.sexychris.net and on it he reveals that he is the "sexiest man alive". Must not have been the car, afterall?

i still get the stares all the time. it amazes me how many people have never even heard of the vibe! imagine the looks i got back in April '02, i had my system thumpin, tinted out, all on a car noones ever really seen, i literally saw jaws drop on a regular basis.

Maybe the 20 yr old girl was starring at you instead of the car
