A few weeks ago I noticed two scratches on the plastic ridge that runs along the middle of the doors. Based on this picture, what caused the scratch, and what's the best way to fix it?Thanks,Bobby

Those things chip up really easy, i get them all the time from people even just lightly bumping into them with the door

I have one scratch on each moulding of each door. Wow. A set of four. How sweet.

I've got a few of those too, all on the passenger side though, plus some on the hood.I Use touch-up paint.They're pretty cheap, each bottle costs me about C$5, about US$3The only thing you can do is cover it up with touch-up and get over it.

Thanks all. Maybe I'll head down to the dealership on Monday and pick up some touch up paint.

Most of regular car doors hit directly on this modling.But I have big SUV as they hit the door highter then the molding...

In the last month and a half I have gotten two of those marks. One on the front passenger side and one on the rear passenger side. People just don't care about hitting someones car.

AAAAYYYYYYYYYYEEE,I can't imagine how sad i become if happen to me.Maybe,if you put a line decor sticker,or decor to camouflage the scratch,like the flames of GrafxWerks.Seriously,if someone smagh his door to mine,i don't know wath i do to him,maybe smagh his head out.

Maybe,if we put a mini camera in the car ,on the dash.When someone smaghthe door,or hit,the camera see's the id plate,so you can go to the court with film proof,or on his assurence.
