Oh well, the additional $500 I paid over what I would have paid today would have probably been lost in the stock market anyways. Does someone knows why it seems to have no incentives in Canada?My dealer told me in July that maybe it will have a cash back promo this fall... For now, I check on http://media.gmcanada.com/ and they didn't announce anything today. I will wait... like for my Vibe.

Thanks for your answers guys !We all know they don't have cars to sell anyway. I agree with you Ken. I will not hope for a discount on my future Vibe. I talked to my dealer today and my order will take 2 more weeks. I ordered the Vibe at the beginning of July and it will be built at the end of October. I have to expect delivery at the end of November.I didn't see the Canadian Vibe ad last night... If I can offer my 2 cents.The US economy is at a slower pace of growth right now compared to Canada.When things are slow the auto industry offers amazing rebates to stimulate sales, more sales equal more spending and helps stimulate the markest and in the end helps growth.If you notice (Canadians) the only rebates that are on now are the typical end of year sales and or model changes i.e. cavalier and sunfire.It also helps that it costs less for us from the get go compared to Americans.just my 2 cents

Hi SCTM!For my Vibe, I went to the dealer of my birth's region: Didier Automobiles in Amqui in the Matapédia Valley. It's the only place I have a raisonnable delay for a vibe... Before I ordered, almost all dealers I talked to said that there was a 6 months delay at the beginning of July... It's like you (January or February 2003!)Last week, I called GM (1-800-463-7483) with my order number and they said to me it will be built in the week of October 14. But it's different from what my dealer said last week: week of October 28. BTW, I know now that my Vibe is on its way. I continue waiting.... I will call again each week.Good luck for yours

Oh yes there's a bunch like that... like people on a bus or something and then a Vibe drives by. They all play that same music in the commericals I've seen (I've seen about 3 different ones). I think the music is Chocolate Elvis, but I can't remember the band.

Wow, you already have a build date. That at least gives you something to look forward to. I'm seriously thinking about dropping ABS from my order... but then I think about how ABS saved my (removed) twice two winters ago.decisions decisions...

I was talking to my dealer about these very same items. My dealer claims that they install the flaps and guards at the dealership not at the plant.

My dealer says it is sure I will have my Vibe before the end of the year. It's because he is sure he will be able to have ~8 Vibe for 2002. I'm in this poll. I'm the October one !!!Some dealership are now ordering cars for 2003 because all of 2002 were sold... All the other car before mine were sold in advance. The only ones that were not sold were the first one and an AWD. But they stood on the lot for a maximum of 2-3 weeks.Good luck in your decisions...J-F
