What are some of your favorite computer programs that you've purchased, or came in a bundle deal when you bought your PC or Computer Accessory.I bought this program over the summer in which was recommended by our fellow genviber "Keely". It's called DVD X COPY. If you've heard of it then you already know what an awesome program this is. If not basically you can copy DVD movies; menus; special features; and all audio features including DTS 6.1. It's only takes a little over an 1 hr to make a complete copy and you basically put your DVD in your Burner, click the green button to rip, replace the DVD movie with Blank +R +RW -R -RW and hit the green button again to burn itand there you have it.........The best part is that it can now go all on "ONE DISC" instead of two I recommend this for all movie lovers and collectors

To this day, my most used and favorite computer program is Quicken 2000 (used along with Pocket Quicken for my Palm IIIc). It makes home finances much easier and allows me to very easily save for major purchases and manage my credit cards.

My favorite addiction is The Sims. Only I forgot to save my data folder when I got my iBook, so now I have to start completely over. Oh well. I asked for some expansion packs for Christmas. I just bought SimCity 4, too, but I haven't loaded it yet.

Then Sega Genesis came along.....I haven't installed a game on my PC yet, maybe because I have a PS 2 connected to it. I guess I should give PC gaming a shot now.

I use Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2 and Nero 6 ultra. Just got a Treo 600 (Palm/cell phone) and been trying out software downloaded from the net. Oh yeah, I can't forget CS.

I SWEAR by the following:- IrfanView: absolute BEST multi-format viewer out there- Adobe Acrobat (full program, not reader): Makes my bills much more organized. I switched my credit card, cell phone bill, etc. to all electronic. I go onto the web each month, "print" a copy of my bill to Acrobat format, slap it on a Zip disk, and BOOM, instant organization. No paper chaos. Easy to find what I need in a snap. I love the "paperless" office theory...- Weatherbug: Nothing beats peeking in my SysTray each morning and knowing how to dress...almost went out in heavy sweater and jeans a few days ago -- turns out it was 60 degrees out!- Jasc Paint Shop Pro: fantastic photo editor. Easy to use. Does what I need.- Ad Aware: great for keeping spyware, adware, and other unwanted clutter off my machine. Any time a program tries to "secretly" edit my registry or add itself to my system, Ad Aware lets me know, and allows me to block that from happening, or allow it.- Musicmatch Jukebox: Great for ripping my CD's into MP3 files.- Roxio Easy CD Creator: Great for taking those MP3 files and putting them back on CD!- Trillian: Rocks the party! Lets me be on AIM, Yahoo!, ICQ, MSN Messenger, and the like all from the same program, at the same time, with one buddy list.- WebShots: Lets me get great wallpapers, and automatically changes it every week for me.- Winamp: Need I say more?- Norton SystemWorks & Norton Internet Security: Keep my system in good shape, handly little utilities, and keep hackers OUT!That's just the most importnat stuff to me.
