GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

Well thanks to CelicaGirl and her know how we finally got My Vibe equipped with an Injen intake. Love the sound it makes makes the car growl now under acceleration, and the sucking sound when you start it cold sounds great, it is a noticeable louder sound coming from the engine. Only complication was that the fuse box clip to raise the fuse box wasn't there so we got creative, the filter was a peice of cake, however the bushing you bolt the intake to the car with kept getting in the waywhen we tried to put the intake in. We took it off even though the instructions said to put it on before the intake. Once it was off the intake slid in easily, then we just lifted it up and bingo bushing went in. Love the Intake thanks to CelicaGirl again for all the know how and help.

Congrats.. I'm honored to welcome you to the Injen team (it's a tradition here!) The CAI does wonders for the Vibe! We'd love to see pics of the install too.. even though it's the same CAI, new install pics are always welcomed.

Thanks the intake rocks, just gotta dress up the engine bay now, does anyone have their engine cover painted not the whole thing like some of the members do, I just want to paint the vvt-i letters...is there a sticker that will hold up or is painting it the only option?
