Silverstar Turn Signal Bulbs - Installed

Put these on last week, finally got around to taking pictures of them!Installation was easy on passenger side, had to remove battery on driver side (hand too big). They seem to be brighter as well, versus the stock bulbs. Also when fully illuminated, you can still see a little of the blue reflecting off the back of the light housing - a very cool look, almost has a greenish tinge (Amber+blue?) Worth $20 imo! Part # was 1157A

I believe Brightness, and as you can see in the first pic, they have a iridescent blue color to them when they are not lit up. When they lightup, however, they are amber. Just a sorta cool effect in my opinion.Helps make the car look a little different in the details

I got them installed tonight and all I can say is I love them! The look when they are not on really goes with all the blue in my car. And man, are they bright! I also had to move the battery to get to my drivers side, but I didn't completely remove it to do it. I just took the bracket off and moved it over a bit. Great mod and I also got my rebate on them as well.

Here is a pic I took last night with all the lights on, using hazards to get the turn signals on. All the lights are nice and bright.

Nice. What lights do you have in your fogs? Are they silvers?

Nice look, the blue is a nice effect when the lights are off. I was thinking of putting in a set as well as replace my fogs with blue but keep bright white in my headlights... as an appearance effect... wonder how it would like. Sweet mod.

No problem with heat or anything? I like the brightness of them. I have PIAA's in my headlights, and the regular bulbs in the driving lights look really dim and yellow. LoL I like your lights, though.

You should be able to get them at any auto parts store that carries Sylvania bulbs. I got mine at Murray's.

Put mine in the other day! They look so much better than plain orange ones. Even threw in a pair of Silverstar driving lights. They go good with my PIAA headlights.

I put my silverstar turn signals in today! Man that looks awesome. Does anybody have a pic of the silverstar headlights installed with the lights off? Can you see the blue at all when the headlights are off?

Can you see the blue at all when the headlights are off?No, you can't see that they have a blue coating on them. If you look into the headlight, you can see a light deflector that is actually in front of the bulb, hiding it.

In that first picture I also have Silverstar headlamps, so you can take a look for yourself: No blue showing

There is a blueish "hue" cast on the reflector even if the bulb is off...So you can kinda see it...
