Today, i think i made the best purchase next to my Vibe. I bought a 55" Magnavox big screen. I'm pretty pumped up, cause now i get to sell our old entertainment center. Only downfall was i had to buy my wife a curio cabinet, so she could put all her pics and things she had on the old center. I should take delivery of it early next week. This is one of my child-hood dreams, so i'm gleaming!!!!!

I bought a JVC 56" (AV56WP74) widescreen about a month ago. It is cool! I'm holding off buying a hd o.t.a. receiver, but regular Directv looks very good, and Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo on my progressive scan DVD player are fantastic. We have a 2 year old boy who used to pound on our old 27" Sanyo, so I had to make a wall to keep him away from the screen on the new one. They price-matched Amazon, and it was during a 10% off if you put it on your Sears card sale, so I couldn't pass it up.
