Spray-lining the plastic compartments

Hi Everyone...Ok, so I've read about using the spray-on liner stuff for the plastic ridges in the back to help prevent things from moving around but what do you think about using that spray-liner stuff inside the plastic compartments, including the spare wheel cover and 2 side openings. Spray the compartments themselves and the doors too, making sure not to get anything on the grey outter plastic parts or anywhere where it would prevent the compartments from closing. Does anyone think this would possibly help cut down on some of the rattles back there? Also saw on a Matrix site where someone used a sound absorbing mat in the hatch iself to cut down on noise from their aftermarket exhaust. Would spraying this stuff in the hatch cavities (yup, removing the plastic parts first) help in the noise back there?Noticed a lot of noise when it rained on the metal piece where the hatch washer fluid dribbler is. Does anyone know if this can be easily removed then have the underside sprayed with this same liner spray or something similar? I'm just thinking it might be worth the time and a few bucks to get a can of the stuff and see what all I can quiet down. Anyone try this though? Any thoughts? Will the chemicals in the spray eat the plastic? Dave
