Does anybody with two-tone have any experience with the Grafxwerks "PONTIAC" overlay for the depression on the back hatch? The website says that it has not been tested on non-monotone cars. Just trying to figure out if it will stick.

I'm not sure fit is the problem. I think the issue is if the overlay will adhere onto the plastic (and stay on even when it gets wet).

Thanks ArcsVibe, with the hood deflector and Grafxwerks overlays, our vibes are looking kinda similar (just a different color scheme)

I took the plunge and put in an order with Ryan for the PONTIAC (plus a couple of other things). I'll post pics when the stuff is on.

Just trying to figure out if it will stick.I mentioned that because the non-monotone license hood is textured, and when you try to stick anything to a textured surface, obviously there is less adhesion. I've actually had 4 or 5 non-mono Vibe owners tell me that their inlay is holding up fine, so I will remove that caveat. As with all my products, if you do have a problem, I'll make it right - RyanGrafxWerks

I can also confirm for two Vibes that the Pontiac inlay from Grafxwerks does just fine on the 2-tones. I bought a reflective bright blue one for my Neptune sometime in the spring of '03. Also bought a reflective bright red one for my friend's Salsa 2-tone later on that spring. Both installed just fine, not any issues with adhesion. Even after washing my car at least on a weekly basis, and being exposed to the elements constantly, it is still holding up fine. And, the color on both of these is just as vibrant as the day I dug these inlays out of the mailbox. Good stuff, Ryan!

How do these hold up to a pressure washer ? Would one have to be careful around the overlay ?Anybody have pics of the PONTIAC overlay or the front dart on an Abyss Vibe ? Thinking about getting those and possibly others and wondering what colors might look nice. It would be neat to see one and see how it looks.

I think as long as you use good judgement, you won't have any problems.Quote, originally posted by northvibe »oh yea Ryan, I just got a bunch of overlays from you last night, could you use more pics for the site?Of course, I'm always looking for good quality pictures!!Cheers,- RyanGrafxWerks

wow well i dont use pressure washer nozzles that make my hand bleed but it sorta hurts from that close. thnx for the tip, i usually wash it from 3 feet away with the washer unless i gotta spray some dead bugs off. When i get the overlays i'll take some sweet pics for ya!
