Windy today

Post by joatmon »

It's pretty windy here today, lots of strong gusts. The vibe tends to swim around a bit in gusty winds, maybe because it's light for being so tall. Anyway, be ready to deal with getting pushed around out there today.

The wind is kicking up here in Jersey also. Going over the bridge into PA took some concentration.

Very windy here as well. I couldn't see when walking home because my hair was constantly in my face. That drives me nuts.

That sounds awfulWhen I got home today there were a bunch of power company trucks pulling trees off the power lines again. They were really quick this time, expecially compared to the 5 days it took them to get to my street after hurricane isabel.

I'm in good standing with my Maker, so I'm not worried . Lots of strong wind here in the Pittsburgh area also. Mixed with snow here today as well. I was so happy, today is the first day of this season for snowfall in Pittsburgh. I love the snow . Yes, I know, most people will think I'm sick for loving the snow. I even love driving in it--too bad the Vibe didn't go very well in the snow last year, I was barely able to make it around in like 4 inches of snow. This year, I'm prepared. I got 4 snow tires on the car. If that doesn't help, I'm going to have to look into buying a cheap, used, older 4X4 for the winter and parking the Vibe in the bad weather.

I had to do a "whole town seach" to find my garbage cans last night. The wind carried them as far as 4 houses away.

I was hoping a branch would fall on the hood of the vibe....I really want a paint job!!!! once again, it will be said, the paint sucks! I could buy a carbonfiber hood, and spend the rest of the money on a paint job!

Today's fun for the mid atlantic region is flood, wind, hail, T storm and tornado threats. Sounds like a potential "wrath of God" day. Good luck, drive smart. Now I just need to figure out where around here I can park that will keep the car safe.picture below from http://www.wjla.com

It was really windy here again today. Not nearly as windy as some have posted here from last winter, but still enought to toss my Vibe around on the open road. Like we skipped February and went straight into March
