Does anyone else have the problem of the compartment below the radio just coming open at times? I don't know why it does it but it only does it sometimes. Could use any help. Also if anyone knows if the back windshield sprayer spays or if it should just let the stuff flow down the back windshield.

Mine pops open if I hit the shifter knob. I think the rear does not spray.

Some seem to pop open, some don't. The rear dribble is normal. It looks lame, but it does get the juice where you need it.

I used the foam tape method to fix mine. It used to come open every mile or two and overnight when parked -- it hasn't come open by itself since the repair.

We had the same problem with ours popping open when driving over bumps. We took it back top the dealer and they replaced and adjusted the latch. I figured we paid enough for the car to not have to do this ourselves or use tape.

Mine did the same thing...drove me crazy.I took it to the dealer and they replaced it with a piece that had a longer clasp thing. It hasn't happened since. But now, the little compartment on the left of the steering wheel started popping open. Had to put velcro on it to keep it shut.

Never had the chance to let that particular problem develop. I put full length box of tissues in the rectanglular bin right in front of that compartment. This serves a few purposes, hiding from view that there is a storage compartment there, holding the tissue box in an easily accessable location, and now apparantly to keep the bin closed.
