A few weeks ago my friend's mother bought herself a brand new Nissan 350z...she lets my friend take it out now and then. he went to a party and like a dumb (removed), got drunk. He was driving home and was driving at 140mph on Groesbeck!!! a truck pulled out of a drive way because he didn't know the 350z was going 140 and my friend tried to avoid hitting him and he clipped the back of the truck and fish tailed the rear end into a tree and then it reversed direction and hit another tree head on. My friend is alright...the car was completely desstroyed...he lost his liscense and his car. The only good thing is that his mother got another new 350z for free and her insurance rates only went up $12 lol. Obviously theres a lesson here!

Hey was drunk. That's why I don't want to drink because I know how stupid people get when they do. And yeah i have no idea why he didn't get jail time, I think he should have too.

(because I don't drive drunk)Although the world might seem to be spinning at 30mph.

I have such strong feelings for drunk drivers.. They should not be allowed EVER to drive once convicted an thats after serving 5+ years in prison. No friggin reason to be reckless and endangering lives...no disrespect to you friend but he is a 1st class (removed). Also I am shocked that the insurance only went up by 2. is her son under 21? living in the house?

quote: "federal pound me in the A$$ prison"office space, good moviei don't think it's a secret, i drive after having a few. but there is a huge difference between that and being plowed, swerving all over the road (which i did unfortunately do at that age).the problem is, if that kid were of a lower class, driving a crappy car, or of certain ethnicity, the sh*t would have hit the fan. this country sucks sometimes

HAHA, i knew I heard that "pund me in the (removed) prison" phrase from somewhere...couldn't quite remember though lol. Yeah, his mom has some importance so I think that may be why he didn't go to jail.

This guy is extremely lucky. Lucky he didn't severely injure or kill not only himself but somebody else. When you drink and drive, yourself is not the only person you put in danger. However, unfortunately, most people don't realize that until they staring in the face of the person they put in that wheelchair or coffin with one night of fun....

I'd go with attempted murder...because isn't manslaughter non-intentional? Or at the very least, assault with a deadly weapon.... It's a shame how few people get their just deserts in this world.

you get manslaughter most often when the crime is commited in the heat of passion
