Hope's (trdvibe) vacation pics in Hawaii

I thought I'd share my vacation pics from Hawaii. I went to Oahu Oct. 28-Nov. 3. What a beautiful place! Can't wait to go back. I have 2 separate albums because I took so many pics. click on the top icon and that is Tues (Dole Plantation)- Fri morning (Waikiki). The bottom album is Fri afternoon (hanauma bay)- Sunday eve when I left. I'm still adding more pics to the second.

trd, I went to Hawaii not too long ago, I was also on the island of Oahu. What a beautiful area. My hotel was right on the waikiki strip just a few hundred feet down from the beach. They were just finishing up a major landscaping project down there while I was there, so I'm sure it looks pretty nice by now. I can't really look at your pictures yet because I'm at work, but did you climb Diamond Head? It wasn't a really hard hike, but once you got to the top, you could pretty much see the whole island. It was spectacular. I can't wait to go back.

i would love to go to hawaii. i had an aquaintance that went to college there and got kicked out. he had to live on the streets for a few days. what better place to have to do that?

we didn't get a chance to acutally hike it. forgot my shoes and didn't want to hike up in my sandals.

They even have park rangers up there to talk about the history of the mountain. There are cannon posts up there from way back in the day when they used to protect the island (from who?) and stuff like that. The fortifications up there really are cool. The ocean looks really nice from that high up, you can see right to the bottom for miles out.

well, glad you were getting some in hawaii, pablo. i, however, was getting a tan and that's about it. maybe next time....
