Saw it last night. Wondering what everyone else thought.I was kinda like "(removed)" at the end of the movie.Today after analyzing it and reading more philosphy behind it all (Thank you, Fark.com) I find myself liking it more and more. It's a sad tragedy with Neo and Trinity, makes me want to watch a "feel good" movie now. Neo and Smith fight scene, however: Reminded me strongly of Dragon Ball Z, kicked (removed), nonetheless. The defense of the Dome in Zion was also amazing, hooray for Mecha :DOn a side note, the ending credits' song: "Navras" is 9 minutes of pure driving fun. This song is going to net me a speeding ticket, I just know it.Still think the Original Matrix was the ebst one, but Reloaded and Revolutions are good additions to the story to wrap things up. It surely makes you think, at least.

I JUSt returned from seeing the movie and it was INCREDIBLE.. I enjoyed the Agent Smith/Neo battle and was facinated with the machine world. Story was great although I have tons of questions about things...When Agent Smith had Deja VU I am assuming he knew he was screwed right?

You mean when he was remembering everything?I don't think it was Deja Vu, it was the "Oracle" in himself that was remembering what he foresaw. As for when he thought he was screwed ... I don't think Smith knew he was screwed, he was just confused because he only saw up to a single point, and thought he had won - but from what I remember the Oracle couldn't see everything, so when he called "Mr. Anderson" "Neo" he knew there was something wrong ... or whatever.I'm still analyzing it. From what I had gathered, the Oracle was the one who caused the whole Smith incident to happen. I'm still trying to figure it out. Not sure HOW she got things to work as she did, but it was sorta hinted at with the whole "You played a dangerous game" speech that the Architecht gave to the Oracle at the end. I believe that to end the war, the Oracle somehow created the virus Smith and then the machines would NEED Neo to save them, in doing that, Neo could then ask for peace, and since the machines are incapable of lying (human emotion) and something about them serving humans still (part of Issac Asimov's rules of robotics) that there would be no worries of the machines recinding their promise of peace. All of this almost makes my head hurt. Too bad I can't discuss it with my roommates, who are too stubborn to see anything other than they can, and if you make one word mistake they are so (removed) to go on that till you just give up trying to debate with them.Did I mention that I was the only Mac user in this house too?

I saw it last night and i'm still pondering it... but some of your analysis makes some sense on the questions that i had. i was very saddened w/ Trinity and Neo at the end, but then again, not every story is a happy ending for all.i also noticed how much the ending parralleled to the death of Christ, giving one's life for everyone else, even how they laid him out...you know there will be more...

I was on the edge of my seat during the part when all the guns were just firing up at the first hole. Of Course, I like gun fire, and I used to play mechwarrior (way back in the day), so they kinda went hand in hand. I did over all love the movie. Geo, thank you for the name of that song at the end... you are right, it really does make you want to drive fast
