They are calling for freezing rain tonight in Ottawa but my Dunlop Graspic are not on yet. I think I'll wait another 2 weeks. The stock Conti's only have 5000 km so they will be fine for a while.

Hey Rob! You know that you are always welcomed to post in our forum , we will make you an honorary Canadian : )The snowblower looks cool, I have the hand held type ( shovel ) LOLVibeSalsa I agree, je veut les monter avant que les garages sont pleins de monde.Sunny I was just wondering....I noticed that while I was in Ontario a few weeks ago all the Vibes had Contis, did the Quebec Vibes get the Goodyears only? How do they handle? I did not hear very good comments on the Contis....

All depend when your Vibe been built and what the Nummi plant had in stock. And for the GoodYear, the are not the greatest in snow and does not stick very well under -10c, as most of any 4 season tires. With either, conti's or GoodYear, buying a set of 4 real winter tire is a must in our country.

The Conti's are OK for a stock tire. I would have preferred Goodyear. Why has nobody mentioned Nokia Hakkepiletta snow tires, they are no nonsense rally snow tires from Scandinavia? Probably too much $$$$.

They are fantastic winter tires! My friend had those and he swears by them....to pricey for me though. VibeSalsa thank you for clearing that up for me, I was just curious!!
