Has anyone seen up close or have the GM seat covers for the Vibe? From the picture I've seen of them, the material looks similar to wind-breaker jacket material. Is the material more cloth-like or plastic like?

http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/accessories/pdf/Vib.pdf states the following about the Vibe seat covers:quote:Made from a durable polyester knit fabric, these water-resistant seat covers will protect both the front bucket seats and the back bench seat from spills, dust, mud, and overall wear and tear. Embroidered with the Vibe logo.

Yes, but that doesn't really tell me what they feel like. Depending on how the polyester is made, it can be cloth-like or plastic-like.

I haven't seen the GM seat covers but I'm getting information on ordering custom made leather seat covers for my GT from a company called Katzkin Leather Interiors. Here is a link to their site:http://www.katzkin.com/SITE/HTML/index.htmlThe Email I received from them also refers to this site for pricing information:http://www.leatherseats.comI want to get the two-tone gray interior I think. Still trying to decide. Going to try installing them myself. Have to save up the money to buy them first.

Not sure. Right now I'm trying to contact the local approved installer in my area to see how much it would cost to have them do it. They didn't have any Vibe examples on their website and if they did, it would probably be just from the front side like their other examples. Will let you know what I find out.Ugh! I just looked at the seat covers they offer from GM. They look horrible! No way would I want to put those on my car! Sorry guys.

I had the same company do the seats for my Dakota R/T that I sold about a month ago. They did an awesome job on them! I would recommend if you want to go with leather.

Well, I got the pricing to have them installed locally. They want to charge me extra for the two tone (which they don't if I buy the seat covers direct) and they won't install seat covers that I buy. I have to buy them from the installer. Also, it costs an extra $460.00 for them to install it. What a deal - NOT! I think I'll take a chance on installing them myself once I can save up some money. May be my Christmas present to myself this year. Anybody around the Philly area have any experience installing seat covers?

[QUOTE]plus $679 usd for leather is a great deal!!!QUOTE]I agree completely! I'm not unhappy with the price for the seatcovers at all. I'm just pissed at the way the installer is trying to rape me at his end. I wonder what the price would have been if my boyfriend had called instead of me?
