i just wanted to say that i hate tech problems on the internet, especilally in genvibe. i know it isnt anybody fault really, but its just annoying. i miss the active topic link. i miss the old genvibe. ever since the whole "flamming" thing that happened a while ago and now the tech problems, genvibe seems to have "slowed" down alot in my opinion. what do you all think?

not having the active topic list is killing me the most...

although I am assuming its temporary.. So I will just hang back and wait..

It will take a few days for the forum to return to normal due to the downtime. Many forums experience a slowdown in traffic as the seasons turn. I'm sure we'll kick it back up soon.If the system remains stable today, Search should be re-enabled tomorrow.Computers go down, people move on, lose interest, etc... that's the way the Internet goes.

I hate tech problems too, and I miss the activethreads function, as well as search, upload, etc. It'll come back. I know I am definitely getting my money's worth out of the site. Seems like prior to the downtime, the post rate did slow down. I bet it was a temporary thing, should be over. Everyone catching their breath after "Days of our Vibes" Genvibe certainly rocks compared to some other things that I won't go into because of the second half of paragaph 2 of http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=2180.

Well here goes:I remember when I had to walk 10 miles in the freezing snow to get to school!! Tech problems seem pretty minor to me, I remember when we only had IBM ps1 with a connection rate of a wopping 9600 baud rate. remember when there was no Internet? don't get dependent on the Internet (not that is bad or anything) just remember that there is a real world out there with bigger problems than the server being down.
