Camera angles at football games

This weekend marked the first time I was able to sit down and actually watch a football game this season. I noticed that there are some fancy camera angles - almost like watching a video game. I would think the camera was on a wire hanging above the playing field. Anybody know how they are doing this?

It's called a SkyCam. They use it at most huge events now... There're four motorized winches in the stadium that are all the way at the top...they run the cables down to the field..hang the camera, and use a joystick to move the thing around the field..
