Not sure if anyone else posted these, but VIS Racing Sports has released an OEM CF hood for our Vibes. Check out THIS eBay auction. Maybe they will release their other styles for the Vibe:Invader View #1:Invader View #2:Evolution:Xtreme GT #1:Xtreme GT #2They can be found through other web distributors as well, for a fair price as well .

Yeah - the Evo style one is perfect. Vent over radiator for extra cooling + air intake right where it should be. That + a short ram intake would be just what I want. I think I'll hold off on buying a CAI for a bit - maybe someone will get this to happen for the Vibe.

i don't understand the whole carbon fiber thing. does it do anything besides being a hood that is black instead of painted colored?

It's more than half the weight of the stock one. If you delve into VIS's site, I believe the Vibe OEM-fit hood weighs only a shade over 12lb's!*REAL* CF is big for racers...and looks

Yes, I would be highly interested in the Invader or Evo style hoods if I saw how they looked on a Vibe :DGuess I gotta start saving now ... heehee.

I've heard of VIs racing. They do have a good reputation. Have I personally seen one of their hoods, maybe. When you go to a car show you never really know who made the c/f hood unless they advertise for them.

I went to a local speed shop and asked them about VIS racing. He said by far the best hoods out on the market. That is one of the brands he deals with. If you can get this hood I recommend it
