Mobil1 price went up at Walmart

I stopped at Walmart yesterday, and I was in the auto section. I discovered that the 5qt jug of Mobile1 went up over $22. It had been $18.88. Was this only my Walmart? Did Mobil1 raise their prices?I know $3 is not much, but if it means stopping elsewhere I will.Thanks

Not sure if you have a BJ's Warehouse near you, but I bought a 6-1qt box of Mobil1 for $23.98Jim

Hi Michael,Yeah, it went up everywhere. The $18 price was for a limited time only anyway. I've been from Illinois to South Carolina and all the Wally-Worlds are the same (or within a few cents cuz I didn't notice the numbers after the . )Dave

I was in Walmart today to get some Mobil one for the Vibe. I noticed they had priced for quick sale on the clearance rack, 5 litre jugs of 'Valvoline' synthetic oil. Really great deal at $20.00 (Canadian). I paid $29.00 Canadian for the Mobil (4.4 litre). Has anyone ever used the Valvoline synthetic oil or heard anything about it? Would there be any problem switching from Mobil to Valvoline synthetic? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
