I was just a little curious if there were any other wrestling fans around here???

i used to be a wrestling fan, even though (please don't kill me for saying this) i knew it was fake. there is just too much drama and bullcrap in it these days. i kind of gave up when the undertaker shot lightning from his hand, that was enough for me. when i was a little whipper snapper, i used to watch the old school wrestling w/the missing link, iron sheik, the VonErics, stunning steve austin, dustin rhoades (i knew he was golddust the whole time), even cactus jack!

I've watched all of them, and still enjoy today. Of course it is fake, but you cannot fake diving off a cage or a top rope. I think they are some of the best stunt men. It a male soap-opera.

No, he was never a crack head. His name is Mick Foley, he took on several other roles after Cactus Jack, including his most famous Mankind. He is a family man, and has alot of values. He was for of the most notable "hardcore" wrestlers

I read his 2 books, pretty good read!Have you seen the movie "Beyond the Mat?"It was awesome!

Yeah, i've seen most of them. It funny how good friends they all are outside the squared circle.

Pretty sad what happened to Jake "The Snake" Roberts though....(removed) away a career on stupid drugs....

I did enjoy the "Tough Enough" series though. It was interesting to see how they train, and the day to day rigors of wrestling that you normally don't see.Also count on The Rock being a full movie star now. I used to watch Raw and Smackdown religiously, but for the past 6 months I haven't found it interesting so I stopped watching it over the summer. I think I am getting too old for it, since I seem to know what will happen weeks before they show it on TV.

I watch until Stacey Keibler makes her appearance and then change to Animal Planet.Edit. Switch to Animal Planet after watching Stacey

I miss the Rock. I haven't been watching it as religiously since he left, although the Hurricane is pretty funny. I'm actually looking forward to the McMahon vs. McMahon match. Vince is getting a bit too annoying. Anyone watch Raw last night? I found it a bit ironic at first that Stone Cold came to Stacy's rescue and beat the crap out of Scott Steiner (since he got in trouble for beating up his wife in real life).
