Longer than what?There are already ten threads that have "oil filter" in the title, but I didn't go through them to see if the info you want might be in there.

Wix or Napa gold are good (same)with more filter area and good construction. K&N and Mobile One cost more and should last longer due to their non-paper designs. They appear to come from the same source. K&N flows better but doesn't filter as well and the Mobile One filters the best but restricts flow more than even the Wix. I use the Wix with Royal Purple oil and change every 5k of mostly highway. I've tried Mobile One oil but really like the Royal Purple blend. They also make a pure synth.
