My family is considering buying another GM vehicle and we were thinking about doing the 24 hour test drive. However, it seems like you almost have to commit to buy to get the 24 hr Test Drive. I have not done it yet and I was wondering if anyone has done it? Is it a hassle with the dealer/High presssure to buy? Is it worth it? Thanks for any info.

In order to take the car home, you do complete the financing as if you are going to buy. So, yes, you must be an approved buyer, and you have to sign all of the paperwork. If you don't bring the car back, you just bought it. That's basically how it works.

By doing all the financing up front it also ensures you're not going to be attempting to "test drive" a car you can't afford to buy - in other words you're definitely not buying, just getting a free ride for 24 hours. I think it would be cool. I've been thinking I'd like to try out the Grand Prix.

All i had to do was sign a couple of papers, but i guess it helps my cousin owns the dealership. I kinda get to drive what i want, when i want. That's why i'm pumped about the GTO.
