Hi all, can anyone please give me the dimensions for the rear window and the rear quarter windows, or even what the biggest possible rectangle of space would be for both????Thanks

Or better yet, why not just measure it themselves...?

I can't answer without going out and measuring. You've had that super sweet looking montone fusion for about six weeks now. What have you got planned for it?

It's curtains?????? Going camping???Window tinting??? Do you want to put in your own plexiglass for racing??? If you were to call a reputable glass company close by they would be able to tell you right over the phone the exact dimensions. They should have it up on their ordering computer system. If there is not a glass shop that can help I can get you a phone number. First you have to tell us why??????

wow, all this 'wondering' response certainly made me laugh and I can only imagine all the puzzled looks on your faces.I'm looking to get graphics done up for those windows, but before I go for a quote I'd like to have the proper dimensions, obviously. So there you go. Plexi glas NO, Neon -> no again, but an interesting idea.

quote:Now talk about someone who is lazy...He's sitting in front of his pc, asking us what are the rear window dimensions while he has the Vibe parked outside....Get the hell off the chair, grab your measuring tape and measure it yourself... Will we have to wipe your *** next time you go for a po.op also?? Hey, I was in a hurry to get this done, but then all hell broke loose so priorities changed. I was hoping someone already had the info, but obviously not. So yes, I will now get measure the windows myself. As for your last comment ... well you have enough comming out of your mouth, so I suppose a little on your hand won't hurt.

quote:LOL.....can't take a joke can you? lol, Certainly, I just couldn't resist the comeback. No hard feelings. Actually, I was laughing so much about all these responses that my co-worker had to see what I laughing about. Go figure I should have seen this coming.I will admit that the request was 'lazy' but when time's a factor, what do you do?

Gentlemen, the Marquis of Queensbury rules wll be observed at all times. And, to lighten up the mood here, I found this wav file from Monty Python. THis file is not directed towards anyone, but I thought it was funny
Attached files abuse.wav (21.9 KB)

Posts like this are exactly why we don't have people like rasermon or Nova any more. This guy asked a simple (granted, unorthodox) question and was jumped on with both feet.Lighten up, sheeschMy .02

You are the man. You had the answer all along and you made us wait. Shame on you...LOLI have heard and seen quite a few weird things on vehicles. The curtains idea is not too far fetched. I have helped people get in touch with conversion van people about curtains for their Aztek. They have the camping set up but people can still see in. I hope that I did not sound harsh. Salsa is crazy today. Some one smacked his dog or something. I have been laughing all day about this thread. There should be a symbol for slap me silly. I am sure it would get used quite a bit. I would not mind putting an air mattress in the back of a vibe and put up curtains and such for camping. It would help out with the cost for people who drive far for meets. It would also help out for the young guys on here who need to have a temporary shagadelic pad.

quote:Gentlemen, the Marquis of Queensbury rules wll be observed at all times.Rivlen, Still curious, what's up? Got some new mod planned? And, to lighten up the mood here, I found this wav file from Monty Python. THis file is not directed towards anyone, but I thought it was funny Nice wav, you can always count on Monty for a laugh. And as for where I was going with this, to be honest, I think I found a way to have my car pay for itself and the upgrades I want to do(wouldn't that be nice, I'm sure your saying). So, yes, the mods will hopefully come eventually.I'm pitching an idea to a possible sponsor for ad space on the rear window. They were receptive to the idea and told me to get back to them with some numbers, so along with that I'm putting together a little 'sales pitch' brochure showing where the logo would go on the car and the benifits of this form of advertising. The dimensions are needed for the graphics that would be placed on the car, and I'll need those so I can get a quote for the graphic work. I have no idea if this will fly yet, but I want to have a proffessional level of presentation ready when I go back to the company. They would pay for the Graphics and for the 'ad space' which inturn will pay for the car. How's that?

Don't forget that rear quarter side window. I've actually seen someone use that as ad space as well, small as it is.

That would be awesome. If they go for it, ask them if they want to buy me a 2004 vibe billboard for Maryland? I drive a lot, so they'd get lots of visibility Hmmm, I guess it would depend on what the ads are for though. Still neat idea, good luck, let us know how it turns out!

There are also special window decals that are "see through" from the inside but still get the job done as far as spreading the message from the outside. Don't know how you'd go about getting them, though.

You can actually buy transparent vinyl (its basically cellophane w/a sticky backing), or you can use perforated vinyl and then print on it. You've probably seen a bus or two with the perforated vinyl covering the entire side windows.Really depends on exactly what you want to do.- Ryan

I knew Ryan would know what options there were. And thanks for the suggestions, that opens up a few more ideas.- Sean
