Holy smoke... thank you to every one how put in their two cents worth. I really do appreciate that you took time out of your day to hook me up with all of this great info. I know that we have planned most of our time in Quebec from the advice that you all gave us. Cheers

Just another quick suggestion. Bring all your 'Canadian Tire Money'. It is widely accepted as legal tender anywhere in Quebec City. Leave home without your American Express card.

I went on a school trip to Quebec City about 15 years ago. It was beautiful. I loved Chateau Frontenac.

Don't forget to stop in at La Normandin for pizza and poutine. Pizza in Quebec is pretty amazing. They add so many toppings that you have to use a fork and knife. The Montmorency falls is quite nice, but I hear that they charge admission now. There's also the Ste Anne falls.Enjoy your trip!

One of our favorite pizza restaurant in Québec City is Pizza Royale. The pizza is cooked in open-fire wood oven.

Just got back from one of the best weekends i have had in a loooooong time. Thanks to every one for their imput as to where to go, what to do etc.My wife and i were thinking that it would be great to get a few fellow Viber's together and go out there again in the summer '04. Beautiful place for a meet, and the roads into the mountains would be great for a driving gathering. If anyone will be travellnig to Quebec City, please take the recommendation of Salsa! and now myself and stay at the Auberge de la Grande Ourse. It is fantastic, and Paul (the co-owner) is in love with the Vibe.

He was telling me that his was reallly looking at getting one, but has to wait for his lease to be up first.Salsa, I would think that a few nights free would be in order since you did take the time to show him your car.
