rim trims

i forget what post it was in, but some one mentioned getting chrome rim trims for the stock wheels. i wanted to get some for my snow tires. i looke dall over, i found some in 14" and 15", but none in 16". the i went to Hub Cap City, a hole in the wall shop. they had some that would fit, but he said teh wheel werent deep enough. he said i wont find any thing to fit. so anyone else have any ideas how to add a little chrome to my wheels with out actually putting on a hub cap? he also had soem center pieces, but he said they wont work on that wheel, he said that type of wheel is hard to work with....
