A supercharged GT. Very interesting. It must be that new, stealthy, invisible supercharger:

No no, this is right!I read an article...Some GT models come with a supercharger.Bu when you want the extra power, you have to say "Go Go Gadget Supercharger!" Then it kicks in...

Maybe they put a base vibe supercharger on a GT, and it's so cheap because they know the engine won't survive.

I just sent him an email. It reads as follows: To whom it may concern, Being a Vibe enthusiast and owner, I have come to notice something strange about your "Super-charged Vibe GT" for sale on ebay. The Vibe GT comes equipped with the 2ZZ-GE VVTL-i 1.8L four cylinder motor. The super-charger you speak of, is for the 1ZZ-FE VVT-i 1.8L four cylinder that comes in the base model Vibe. The actual horsepower output of the GT is greater than that of a base model equipped with the super-charger. The horsepower of the 2003 Vibe GT is 180, while the output of the super-charged base Vibe is around 170. Before misleading anyone else, I would suggest changing the auction's text and the vehicle's specs in the auction. More about the Vibe and it's different models are available at:

Well thought out and planned letter savedbyzero. Keep us apprised of any responses...Only thing I would've done different is directing them to pontiac for vibe specs, and not us.Just my $0.02 though.

Looking at the listing again, it's closed with a notice:"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing"

I have to ring in on this one...until at least the end of last week, GM was selling a supercharger that could be added to the engine of the base Vibe to jazz it up. It was not available for the GT or AWD models. So if this guy had been selling a base Vibe, maybe it was already on there. I know he said GT, but maybe he was ignorant?!?! I was going to post the URL for it, but it, but it is now gone from the Vibe accessories page. The cost for it was $3000. I was looking at it and wondering if it was any good. Maybe they will bring it back. Here is the URL for the GM Accessories site if you want to keep looking as well:

Thank youHopefully he'll relist it, would be interesting to see what a brand new GT goes for.Looks like the seller was a Pontiac Dealer.Update - Relisted as
