Has anyone put a leather steering wheel cover on their base Vibe? If so, where did you get the cover? And I am not talking about the faux leather you get at places like Advanced Auto and such, I want the real, quality, probably pricey, stuff. And if you did put one on, how long did it take you? I am hinting LOUDLY for a cover for Christmas and would like to be able to point the person I am hinting to in the right direction. Thanks!!!

I just found a web site that sells leather wraps. The problem I have is that the web site, at the top left corner, says it is for Hondas/Acuras, yet they show them on a BMW. What do you all think? Let me know.http://streetlightz.com/wheelskins.htmlAlso, for those of you who are chaging some of the colors in your car, check out the red bottom on the shifter (sorry, I don't know the technical term for it).

As long as you specify the dimensions correctly, it should be ok.quote:Also, for those of you who are chaging some of the colors in your car, check out the red bottom on the shifter (sorry, I don't know the technical term for it). That would bee the "boot".

Wheels skins has one made especially for the vibe/matrix/corolla steering wheel. Their is a chart that you use to order from. You do have to tell them which car it is for.

I actually got a Wheelskins leather cover for Christmas. It is the right size (C) but after an hour of threading, it became apparant that the cover was a little too large. There was simply way to much bunching of the last inch or two. The rest of the steering wheel looked pretty good though. Oh well, does anyone know if its possible to replace a base steering wheel with a GT one?

VIN Break on the '05 is the difference. The 88969203 will work on any '03 or '04.
