CraigPlease send me your USPS address via the Send IM feature. I will have your certificate in the mail tomorrow. I will also send a certificate to Jay tomorrow. I have requested additional certificates. If there is anybody else that is thinking about a new vehicle, I can send you the certificate to buy a GM vehicle at supplier pricing. This program sets the price of the vehicle (employee price +4%). You are still entitled to all applicable rebates and financing. Michael

Is "employee price" on a Vibe more than $700 under invoice? On a 2003 MSRP $18,690 the invoice including advertising etc. was $17,585. 4% of that is $700. If you can buy near invoice at or near sticker the GM int he Driveway deal doesn't look that good.

I ended up getting $2500+ when i got my vibe plus all other incentives.

On a 2004 with a sticker of $19020, the price with the GM in the driveway certificate would be $17907. You would then be eligible for financing or the $1500 rebate. That makes the Vibe $16407. So, if you can get a dealer to sell to you at $2600 under sticker (including rebates) then you do not need the certificate. On a Z71 Suburban, the price would be $6000 less than sticker, and then applicable rebates or financing. Most of the individuals that have used my certificates purchased Diesel Extended/Crew Cab pickups. These sticker around $41K, and after rebates they were $32k. Similiar to the Vibe, the dealers were not giving great deals off sticker. Hope this explains the why this is a deal.

I can send the certificate to you. The name of the person purchasing the vehicle needs to be entered on the certificate.

There seem to be a lot of VIBES on the lots in Central Ohio. I got a little over $1,000 off sticker in Jan '03.

Michael,I got the GM in the Driveway certificate today. Thank you so much. I hope to get to the dealer within the next two weeks to see if I can work out a fair trade for my car. I'll be certain to let you know the outcome. Wish me luck!Craig

Working out a "fair trade" - that's a challenge. Some dealer web sites have a section titled "find out the value of your trade" and they shunt you to the Kelley Blue Book site. Then when you go in to the dealership, they tell you they don't use Blue Book, but rather the "Black Book" which is a report of auction prices.

I still have certificates. Please send me your USPS (snail) mail address to my email address. Also, if anybody else is interested, please let me know asap. It will become difficult to send any more after next week (I do need to enjoy the holidays!)
